Welcome to our website. We designed this page to help first time and returning visitors understand the basics of our website.
American Medical Association (AMA) Agreement
Our website includes Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, which are the property of the AMA. Due to this, all website visitors must accept the AMA license agreement before viewing any contract-specific web pages.
Select Your Jurisdiction and Business Type
Arriving at wpsgha.com, users select the jurisdiction and provider type relevant to their business needs. You can choose either the J5 or the J8 jurisdiction along with a business type, either Part A or Part B Medicare.
J5 jurisdiction includes providers rendering services Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, as well as Part A J5 National providers.
J8 jurisdiction includes providers rendering services in Indiana and Michigan
Part A providers submit claims on a UB-04 and Part B providers are those that send claims to Medicare on a CMS-1500. You can save your choice for future visits by checking the box to “Remember my selection.”
Page Header
On the right-hand side of the banner, you will see the “Live Chat” icon and font size icons. Select “Live Chat” for assistance navigating the transactional side of the website between 10:00 and 2:00 PM CT, Monday-Friday.
To decrease font size, click on the small A. To increase font size, click on the large A.

Selecting “My Account” will open the Secure Login page.

On the right-hand side of the header, a green “Login/Register” button will open the Secure Login page. The search box allows you to search our website for specific information.

At the bottom of the page, you will find a blue banner. Here, you can:
- Sign up to receive our Medicare eNews

Transactional Side – The WPS Government Health Administrators Portal
Our portal offers many functions detailed in the WPS Government Health Administrators Portal User Manual. The most frequently accessed functions are eligibility and claim status.
Security Policies for User Accounts
We must follow CMS Security Requirements for our portal to be secure. Some of the policies are:
- The system will log you out after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not have the authority to extend the 30-minute inactivity window. To learn more visit our Portal User Manual — Portal Security and Loss of Account Access page.
- Your account will be disabled if you have not logged in within 30 days. We do not have the authority to change this timeframe. Visit our Portal User Manual — Portal Security and Loss of Account Access page for more information.
- The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) log in process protects your account. Visit our WPS Government Health Administrators Portal User Manual for more information.
- You must change your password every 60 days. We do not have the authority to change this timeframe. Read our Portal User Manual — User Login ID and Password Setup and Management page for more information.
